After the 7/27 eve Yoimatsuri, today the main ritual event, the morning festival, will be held in the morning.
Highlights of the festival include the gorgeous Danjiri boats, the male spear-bearers who jump into the center of the Maruike pond and swim to the Otabisho, and the Noh puppets with rich expressions and unique personalities.
After swimming to the Otabisho, the men carrying the floats bow to the portable shrine and then run to Tsushima Shrine.
The Nunoboko is dedicated to the worship hall of Tsushima Shrine. It is said that a drop of water from the Nunoboko is said to cure all illnesses, so this year, too, I would like to follow them to Tsushima Shrine to touch the drops of water.
