遠ざかる　富士を見つめて　南国へ

Fuji in the distance, heading for Guam.

中部国際空港を離陸したグアム便の機内から

外を眺めていると、雲海から頭を出している

富士山を見つけました。

遠ざかる富士を見ていると日本人というより

地球人になったような感覚にとらわれました。

I found Mt. Fuji poking its head out of the sea

of clouds.
